The Saint Louis Billikens have been active recruiting in the state of Indiana for the past several years. Now after hosting Tipton (Ind.) High School product Mike Crawford, the forward picked the Atlantic 10 school.
At 6-foot-5, Crawford was one of the top scorers in the state as a junior, and now he is off the board.
"Yes, Mike has committed to St. Louis," said Tipton assistant coach Cody Smith.
"He really enjoyed his visit and it just felt right," Smith explained. "He said he's really looking forward to the chance to play for a great program in the Atlantic 10."
Crawford spent time over the summer playing with Indiana Elite, and is the first commitment for the Billikens in the 2013 class.
