One of the St. Louis area's biggest post players will be continuing his basketball career in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Will Clark, a 6-foot-10 center at Rockwood Summit High School in the St. Louis suburb of Fenton, Mo., recently made a verbal commitment to Texas Southern University, according to RameyBasketball.com.

Texas Southern is coached by former University of Missouri assistant Tony Harvey.

According to the website, Clark turned down scholarship offers from Tennessee State, Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri State, Georgia State, Detroit, Tennessee-Martin and Illinois State.

As a junior, Clark averaged a team-high 11.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.85 blocked shots per game for a Falcons squad that went 10-16.

Clark averaged 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 14 games on Summit's varsity team as a sophomore.

Another prospect to watch at Summit is 6-7 junior guard Kevin Dwyer, who averaged 11.1 points per game as a sophomore and connected on 32.2 percent (19 of 59) of his 3-point attempts.
